AI-generated replies, tender findings, estimate matches, marketing drafts and other commercial content should be reviewed by an authorised user before being sent, approved or relied upon.
No invented commercial rates
BuildPilot should not create unknown prices or use another customer's confidential rates. Rate matching is intended to work only against the current customer's own approved rate library.
Source-aware analysis
Where possible, tender findings should identify the source document, page or confidence level. Low-confidence extraction should be clearly marked for review.
Clear responsibility
BuildPilot is a software tool, not an estimator, quantity surveyor, lawyer, accountant, engineer or contract administrator. Users remain responsible for checking scope, quantities, rates, exclusions, risks and contractual obligations.
Private customer data
Customer documents and commercial data are not intended to become a shared pricing database. BuildPilot does not knowingly sell customer data or expose one customer's rate library to another.
Meaningful control
Users should be able to edit, reject or override AI suggestions. Important actions should create an audit trail where appropriate.
Continuous improvement
AI systems can be incomplete, biased or inaccurate. BuildPilot improves safeguards and product behaviour through testing, customer feedback and controlled releases.
